Gregory Abrams is a Senior Paralegal and Team Manager at the Law Office of Alena Shautsova, bringing over 12 years of dedicated service to our clients. A graduate of Columbia University, where he earned his degree magna cum laude with a specialization in human rights, Gregory blends academic excellence with a deep commitment to justice and immigrant advocacy. His strong research, writing, and analytical skills have made him an essential part of the firm’s complex case preparation and day-to-day operations.

Over the past decade, Gregory has assisted in a wide range of immigration matters, including family-based petitions, employment immigration, EB2 NIW filings, asylum cases, VAWA self-petitions, and I-130 petitions. Known for his precision, empathy, and leadership, he ensures that every client receives thorough and compassionate support. Outside the office, Gregory is a dedicated martial artist and a black belt in karate—discipline and focus he brings into his professional role as well.
